The premise
One Brand. One ZIP. Seven Days.
This company exists because Jacksonville Beach is a strange, specific place to own a Sub-Zero®. Half the installed base lives in mid-century cottages where a 600-series box has hummed in a tight remodeled alcove since the nineties; the other half sits in the teardown rebuilds along the oceanfront, where 2008–2015 BI-series columns are aging into their first major failures. Mainland generalists treat both as just another fridge call. We built the whole operation around treating them as what they are: different machines, different enemies, same sandbar.
The enemies, for the record: salt fog off the surf, water at 14–28 grains per gallon, and the restoration surges that follow our 100-plus thunderstorm days a year. Every one of those maps to a documented Sub-Zero failure mode, and every one shapes what rides on the truck — the full picture is in the FAQ and the coverage breakdown.

What We Are — and What We're Not
Trust is mostly the absence of fine print. Here's ours, in table form.
| The claim | What it means | How you can check |
|---|---|---|
| Independent | No affiliation or certification from Sub-Zero Group, Inc. | It's in our footer on every page, in writing |
| Single-brand | Sub-Zero refrigeration only — no ranges, no other brands | Ask us to fix anything else; we'll decline |
| Written quotes | A number on paper before work starts, every job | No signature, no wrench |
| Warranty-honest | 2022+ CL/DET/DEC units get sent to factory service first | Call with a new unit and hear it yourself |

How We Run a Call
Diagnosis on instruments, not hunches: verified temperatures, a condenser inspection, the board's error history, and the electrical chain tested before anyone mentions refrigerant. Then a written number — the lanes are public in the cost guide — and the repair only after you approve it. If the math favors replacement, you hear that too, with the figures that drove the call.
That's the whole pitch. No invented heritage, no stock-photo technicians, no review widgets — just the work, priced in daylight, available seven days a week anywhere in 32250.

Fair Questions About an Independent Shop
Are you authorized, certified, or endorsed by Sub-Zero?
No, and we never claim to be. Jax Beach Sub-Zero Repair is fully independent — the Sub-Zero name appears on this site only to identify the equipment we service. For in-warranty units, Sub-Zero's own Factory Certified Service is the right first call, and we'll say so on the phone before taking your money.
Why bet the whole business on a single appliance brand?
Because depth beats breadth in this trade. One brand means the truck stock matches what actually fails here, the serial-number quirks are memorized instead of googled, and the diagnosis starts from pattern recognition built on repetition. A generalist sees a Sub-Zero occasionally; we see little else, every working day.
Do you install original Sub-Zero parts?
OEM wherever OEM exists. Some legacy components — certain 600-series control boards, most notably — are out of production and available only as professional rebuilds, and we tell you that in the quote rather than springing it later. What we won't do is improvise generic parts into a sealed system and call it fixed.
